At Mobility Plus our main goal is to help the physically challenged to become independent. Some of the products that are often used to help us meet this goal are driving controls. This typically refers to equipment known as "hand controls". Hand controls are installed under the steering column and they allow a person with limited or no leg use to operate the vehicle's brake and accelerator. Often times, hand controls are used in conjuction with a steering device mounted on the steering wheel to allow for easier full wheel turning with one hand.
|
| A typical hand control system is set up for left hand use as shown here. These are 90 degree controls which use pressure towards the dash for braking and pressure towards the driver's lap for acceleration. |

Along with hand controls, Mobility Plus also offers left foot accelerators, electronic shifters, pedal extensions, quad-key turners, parking brake extensions, all types of steering devices and even student braking systems for driver training.
